Looking for a unique and unforgettable way to connect with the coast? Join us for a guided Family Tidepooling Adventure—perfect for visiting families or locals wanting to experience their shoreline in a new way!
Led by a friendly marine biologist and educator, this 1.5-hour adventure invites kids and adults alike to explore the magical world of tidepools. You'll search for sea stars, hermit crabs, sea anemones, and more as we gently explore the rocky intertidal zone during low tide. Along the way, you'll learn cool ocean facts, local ecology, and how to safely interact with marine life.
Optional Add-On: After exploring, relax with a local restaurant by the water. Choose from kid-friendly and fresh, local menu options—great for fueling up while enjoying the ocean view.

Led by a marine biologist, each snorkeling adventure is designed to help you feel comfortable in the water while learning about the incredible animals and habitats that make Southern California’s coast so unique.
Because ocean conditions and visibility can change from day to day, your guide will select the best location for your adventure. Depending on conditions, we may explore the rocky coastline at Marine Room or head to a more protected location such as Mission Point Park.
